The "FILA Museum Foundation" was founded in 2010 with the main aim of promoting, disseminating and making known the value and history of the Biellese brand, from its local origins to its global fame in the field of sports clothing and footwear.
The white background polo shirt with the vertical stripe and blue collar by Bjorn Borg. The technical suit in which Reinhold Messner climbed his first Everest solo without oxygen. The sailing equipment of Giovanni Soldini's famous Atlantic crossing. The shoes of basketball champions.
Companies that are much more than sporting, historic companies that have as their common denominator a great Biella brand that has managed to conquer an international market, becoming the symbol of an era and a movement.
We are talking about FILA, whose historical archive is preserved with care and attention by the Foundation of the same name, attracting the interest of ordinary people, but also of designers and fashion brands from all over the world, fascinated by the history of the brand and curious to know the territory where everything was born to draw inspiration for their collections.
And visitors to the Fila museum cannot be disappointed by the immense collection: 45,000 pairs of shoes, 15,000 items of clothing, 1,000 accessories, a photographic heritage of 300,000 images of which 88,000 digitally archived and then again catalogues, sketches and material for marketing campaigns .
