The FerroviaBiellaOropa Association, on the occasion of the arrival of the second stage of the 107th Giro d'Italia, makes the historic AFBO 1 engine available at the former tram station of the Sanctuary.

Inside the car there is a permanent photographic exhibition as evidence of what was the Bialla-Oropa Tramway, an engineering work among the only ones in Italy which between 1911 and 1958 transported millions of pilgrims and tourists to the most famous sanctuary Mariano delle Alpi.

The association will be present to welcome the people of the Giro d'Italia to discover the history of the tramway on the days:

- Friday 3 May from 8:00 to 22:00

- Saturday 4 May from 08:00 to 22:00

- Sunday 5 May from 8:00 am to the end of the event
