A short tour to discover some of the most fascinating castles in the Biella area!

The itinerary will cross the lands of the Baraggia area of ​​Biella, to reach the ancient village of Piazzo di Biella. Between museums, tastings, history and curiosities, a short trip surrounded by beauty!

PROGRAMME

2 days/1 night

DAY 1

Arrival in Castellengo. The day begins with a visit to the Castle, guided by the owner, to discover the history and secrets of the historic building in the heart of the Baraggia area of ​​Biella.

Light lunch in Baraggia, with typical local dishes.

In the early afternoon, transfer to Candelo for a guided tour of the 14th century Ricetto, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, magnificently preserved.

The itinerary will then continue to Vigliano Biellese, for a guided visit to the Montecavallo Castle, in whose park there is a particularly prestigious winery. The visit will end with a tasting of local wines.

Afterwards, transfer to the farmhouse for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2

The morning will begin with the transfer to Biella where, passing through the center, you will go up to the historic Piazzo district, for a suggestive walk along the cobbled streets and historic buildings, with panoramic observation points. In this neighborhood, a guided tour will take place at Palazzo Lamarmora, held by the owner, which will tell the wonders of the palace and the history of the Alberti-Lamarmora family.

At the end, stop for lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer to Verrone for a guided tour of the curious Falseum museum, dedicated to forgery and deception, located inside the local castle.

Departure for return.
