From Biella to Rive Rosse, discovering Masserano

Biella, the historic textile district of Piedmont, is the starting point of this itinerary. After visiting the city and discovering important industrial archeology sites, we will stop at Ricetto di Candelo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, dating back to the 14th century. From here, you will discover your Biella origins, or rather, Masserano origins, in the so-called Rive Rosse area, a hilly area so named due to the characteristic red color of the soil. An ideal place for viticulture, whose products you will appreciate with a tasting in a special cellar! The itinerary will end with a visit to the Masseranese Museum Complex, which includes 4 sites, including the splendid Palazzo dei Principi. Three days of beauty, taste and history... of your family and beyond!
