The realism of the characters is so effectively engaging as to justify the acts of vandalism carried out up until a few decades ago by those who targeted the figures of the villains with stones. the 13 chapels wind along a circular path in a lush natural environment among centuries-old oaks and chestnut trees in an area full of historical evidence from the late Bronze Age and early Iron Age, from the Romanesque era and from the Lombard phase documented by the remains of a fortified village emerged between the chapels.
