Setting off from Bocchetto Sessera we will leave for a weekend in total immersion into the natural environment of the Zegna Oasis.
We will start on Friday, at 6pm, when the sun will be weaker on hour heads, to descend with our backpacks to the Piana del Ponte refuge, which will be our base for this fantastic weekend. We will relax at dinner together, we will get to know each other and we will soak in the mountain atmosphere.
Saturday morning: up from bed, breakfast and departure for a ring path at the bottom of the valley (18km with an altitude difference of 760mt), going through the famous “Bosco del Sorriso” (“Smile woods”) where the trees tell their story and the senses are enveloped by smells and sounds of this magical stretch of firs, beeches and birches.
We will be back at the refuge on the late afternoon, we will have a relaxed snack and we will wait for the fabulous dinner that Alessandra will prepare for us.
In the evening, the suggestive light of many lit candles, we will listen to the stories of this timeless valley.
On Sunday morning we will wake up and after breakfast we will set of for the Beech woods: an area covered with hundred years old red and green beeches that will transmit their energy to us.
In the afternoon, after a lunch together and having said goodbye to the refuge, we will again set off with our backpacks to go back to Boschetto Sessera, where our minibus will be waiting for us to take us back to the city, happy and with our senses still full of this wonderful mountain experience.
