Welcome to CellaGrande, a former Benedictine convent, a place rich in history and tradition that enjoys a spectacular view of Lake Viverone (Bi).

The name comes from the oldest part of the structure called "Cella di San Michele," a votive chapel built between the 11th and 12th centuries of which part of the original Romanesque structure and the stone bell tower are preserved.

We are the Bagnod family: we will accompany you to discover endless kinds of flavors. Especially if you are a lover of good wine, of which today we are one of the most famous haunts throughout Italy.

Taste our Erbaluce DOCG: our still white wine, we grow it passionately among our 5 hectares of vineyards and with great satisfaction we see it increasingly becoming a benchmark among Piedmontese wines.

Taste the products of our Farm: our Chef prepares new recipes every week with 0 km products. A little "taste" of the dishes that have made history? Carnaroli risotto with frogs, Benedictine Soup of lake fish, Hazelnut and chocolate Bavarian cheese.

Spend a wonderful day at our BIO-SPA: not only an excellent location overlooking the Lake, but you'll find everything a wellness experience requires. Heated outdoor pool with hydrotherapy and neck massage, sauna and steam room, experience showers and ice waterfalls.

But that's not all, CellaGrande is also a space for events and business meetings: ideal for those looking for an evocative setting, completely immersed in nature.

OUR WINERY

The Monastery cellars, completely renovated, are the locus amoenus for our grapes: here they are conveyed and processed at low temperature thanks to state-of-the-art technologies.

The focus of production is on white wines, particularly the Erbaluce di Caluso docg appellation. But without forgetting indigenous grapes such as Nebbiolo and Barbera, in fact, several curiosities about our red wines also await you.

2020: the last year of a noble transformation, thanks to the intervention of expert oenologist Donato Lanati and his skills our wines reach the highest peak of appreciation.

It is a new identity that wants to amaze all five senses: from the expansion of flavors for taste, to the graphic revolution in both the bottle and the label, a packaging to conquer the sight.

Nine rooms equipped with every conceivable comfort will allow you to enjoy this fairy-tale corner of Piedmont to the fullest: historic and intriguing structure, a magnificent location with a panoramic view of the Lake, and a rich Canavese food and wine tradition (all specialties handed down from each generation of the Bagnod family).

TASTING IN THE MASUN - CAREMA

The experience within the experience. We will open for you the doors of our historic winery in Carema, a very important place for us where we produce our line of Carema wines.

Inside the "Masun" you will get to know and taste the great wines of Canavese, accompanied by a selection of cheeses of our production.
