Description
In the middle of the "Valle Cervo", about 12 km from Biella, along the bank of the stream where the "Trattoria Ponte delle Fontane" once existed, the "Albergo Ristorante Asmara" has been operating since 1886, whose name recalls the history of old pioneers of the Valley who in the last century emigrated to Africa to undertake important building works. The name of the local generation, attributed by the founder, and its family management, have been handed down from generation to the present day. The Asmara restaurant has, for its customers, two welcoming rooms and a summer terrace from which you can appreciate the suggestive panorama of the Cervo stream. In addition to the specialty of trout from its own hatchery served in butter or grilled, it offers rich and original appetizers, typical dishes such as polenta concia and "al cagnun" rice, braised meats and stews prepared with seasonal ingredients and delicious homemade desserts.
